Well, first attempt at this ended up making the about page look dumb. Stupid symbols.

If this doesn't work, it's gonna be LEGO(R) – all-ASCII like God intended!

1® carries legal weight. (R) does not. If you are in an ASCII-only environment, you are supposed to use the legally approved variation "Reg U.S. Pat & TM Off." in the United States instead. So if technical limitations prevent us from using ®, we should use nothing, not some useless garbage.– user23Commented Nov 21, 2011 at 17:43
